Clinical Research Assistants (BS, LPN, EMT, MA, CNA or Associate) needed to assist Clinical Research Coordinators and other office staff with various tasks including, but not limited to phlebotomy,
obtaining ECG, vital signs, height, weight, and waist measurements. The Clinical Research Assistant will
be responsible for recording medical data in source documents, entering source data in Electronic Data
Capture (EDC) Systems, filing regulatory documents, laboratory sample processing, shipment of lab
specimens. This is an excellent opportunity to break into the field of clinical research. The tasks may also
encompass work with in-patient hospital-based research protocols. Fluent in English and/or Spanish.
Prior research experience and familiarity with medical terminology will be helpful. Foreign medical
graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Associate or Four-year undergraduate degree or LPN or EMT or MA or CNA
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
• Answer phone calls
• File, organize and prepare patient charts
• Requesting and processing medical records
• Assist in maintaining office/study supplies
• Occasional driving to local physician/medical offices
• Self-directed, proactive and timely in the management of the assignments
